Respond to a review

Promoters get one public response per review. Use it well — a good response actually swings future applications more than the original score.

Three responses that work

• Thank you."Glad it worked out — see you next year." Short, warm, done.
• Clarify."Foot traffic Saturday was strong; Sunday rain hurt — refunded the back row $50." Specific facts.
• Own it."Load-in was a mess — fixed for next year, here's how." Future vendors notice.

What doesn't work

• Arguing the score line by line.
• Personal attacks on the reviewer.
• Demanding edits or threatening to remove someone from future shows. We will pull responses that do this — see guidelines.
