Two different tools for two different problems. Report is for content that breaks the rules — a human moderator reads every report. Block is for someone you just don't want to see anymore.
Report
- Spam, scam, or impersonation.
- Personal attacks or harassment.
- Off-topic content (someone listing crypto in the community feed).
- Fake reviews — "they weren't there" cases.
Reports go to a real human moderator (not auto-actioned). You'll see the outcome in your account notifications within 48 hours — usually much faster.
Block
- Hides their posts and comments from your feed entirely.
- Hides your posts from them too.
- They can't comment on your stuff or DM you.
- Reversible — unblock from /account/blocked.
Blocking is silent — they aren't notified. Reporting is confidential — they don't see who reported.
