Regular
Tier badges are tiny activity signals next to community names. They let you read a thread and know "is this person new or has been around a while" without clicking through to the profile.
The three tiers
- New — under 30 days on the platform. Soft chip, no color signal. Encourages benefit-of-the-doubt.
- Active — 6+ community posts. Terracotta-tinted — this person shows up reliably.
- Regular — 20+ posts and 90+ days on platform. Forest-tinted — long-running contributor.
What they aren't
- Not a moderation signal.Regular doesn't mean trustworthy — that's what verification is for.
- Not a karma score.Quality of posts isn't measured here. Reviews and verification cover that.
Comments don't count toward tier — only top-level posts. Keeps the badge from being game-able with reply spam.
